Sparkle

For the last few weeks I've been wanting to start a blog. My friend Tracy has a beautiful blog and includes great photos and makes small town living look absolutely like it should. My nephew has a fun blog that includes links to great games he's found online. I've read lots of fantastic blogs belonging to strangers and I want to be part of their lives too.

As I contemplated what to call my blog--you know--what is me--I remembered a quote I heard many years ago. It was attributed to Arthur in Camelot but since I've never seen the movie I've always wondered if it was true. Nevertheless the quote has been a part of my life for over 20 years now and it's just part of me.

We are less than a drop in the great blue motion of the sunlit sea;
But it seems some of the drops sparkle.
Some of them do sparkle.

There are lots and lots of sparkles in my life and I hope that my life sparkles at least once in a while too.
